My task was to make a bag-in-box design for sour cherry juice. The product had to be sophisticated, attractive, and playful.
To achieve this I draw illustration for the front (bird made of cherry leaves) and map that locate the origin place, an icon of an owl (which indicates that the bag should be shaked). With the cerfully picked paper and carton, inks and golden hot foil the box good packaging piece.

While working on the design i became with the idea for a short animation for the product. And since I'm a fan of stopmotion animation, I had no hesitation in what style it should be realised.
Preparation, shooting and post-production took me three months, with preparation lasting two months and twenty-five days (February was one of those sleepless months).
The end result is 8 seconds of animation … and invaluable experience and knowledge!
Through the process I designed several storyboards, i drew rough pencil frame-by-frame version, sculpted 15 by 25 cm cherry "puppet", i shot few exhausting test stopmotion animations, so I can shot and edit the final piece for just few hours (with almost no problems).
I adore challenging projects like that one!
